Reservation;Tuition Payments; Deadline Dates To reserve a space in a class, tuition must be paid in full for each Academy class and the Magic Workshop; and at least ˝ the tui- tion must be paid for any other Workshop, Kindermusik ® Class, all Camps or Sewing Class. Any remaining balance is due the first day of class. All full tuition payments and/or balances are to be paid by check, cash, or money order, payable to Fantasy Play- house. Payment plans may be arranged through the office if necessary. The reservation deadlines are: All June Kindermu- sik®– May 13 & All July Kindermusik®– June 17 (Late Fee after deadline for Kindermusik); All June Academy Classes– May 20; All July Academy Classes– June 17; ArtSplash Camps—May 18; CSI:Drama Camp & the Performance Work- shop—June 24; Magic Workshop-- July 10. *It is suggested that you register as early as possible as classes, camps, and work- shops tend to fill up quickly.
Cancellations Fantasy Playhouse reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event of course cancellation, the student will receive a full refund. Participant cancellations made more than 2 weeks prior to the start of class will re- ceive a full refund minus the non-refundable $20 processing fee. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the start of class. However, a credit in that amount (minus a $20 processing fee) may be taken for future classes. No refunds or credits given for with- drawals the day class begins or any time after the class begins. *See Ad for Magic Workshop refund policy. School Schedules, Weather, Makeup Classes We observe the same holiday schedule as the Huntsville City Schools. If Huntsville City Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Fantasy Playhouse Academy of Theatre will also be closed. Make-up classes will be scheduled by the instructor as needed.
Participation Fantasy Playhouse strives to make the theatre a fun and safe learning experience for your child. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove a student from activities due to inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
Academy Scholarships Fantasy Playhouse Academy of Theatre offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. For more information or for an application form, please call the Academy office at 539-6829.
Academy Staff Fantasy Playhouse Academy of Theatre employs a professional staff of theatre instructors, professionals, and licensed Kinder- musik educators. Each teacher brings to the Academy their own unique experiences to share with their students. Com- bined, our teachers have over 100 years of experience teaching children. In order to meet the enrollment and instruction needs of the Academy, we reserve the right to reassign teachers with- out notice to the parents or students. Refunds are not given if your student’s teacher is reassigned at the last minute.
Our Mission We at the Fantasy Academy of Theatre believe that all young people should have the opportunity to participate in theatre both as artists and as audience members. The Academy is committed to providing original, creative, and high quality theatre education to students of all ages, cultures, abilities, and levels of interest. Our goal is to help students develop their voices, bodies and imaginations by teaching theatre skills which help them flourish and grow, as both artists and people.
